Version v1 — every pack submitted to FINDS or the Marketplace is expected to meet these five principles.
Every sound on this platform starts with a real recording — a location, a moment, a microphone. Nothing is borrowed and nothing is presented as field-recorded if it isn't.
If a sound has been processed, layered, or generated, say so. Passing off synthesized or sourced material as an original field recording is a Content Standards violation, full stop.
You must hold the rights to everything you upload — your own recording, or material you have explicit permission to share and resell under Sample Everything™'s terms.
This includes any people, music, or copyrighted material audible in the recording. If clearing a sound isn't possible, don't upload it.
Pack names, descriptions, tags, categories, and locations must reflect what's actually in the pack. Don't tag a sound as something it isn't to game discovery or search.
Buyers and listeners are trusting your description before they ever press play.
Recordings of identifiable people require their awareness and consent. Content that exploits, degrades, or was captured without regard for the people or places in it isn't welcome here — regardless of how it sounds.
This platform exists to turn real-world sound into raw material for other people's work. Every pack should be something you'd actually want to build a track, a score, or a project around — not filler uploaded to fill a quota.
